Pizza Braai Pie

Ingredients

800 g roll puff pastry  (2 x 400g)
4 tbsp tomato paste
80 g LANCEWOOD® Medium Fat Plain Cream Cheese
50 g salami slices
1 tbsp peppadews , chopped and drained
80 g Feta Cheese
1 avocado pear , pitted and sliced
170 ml LANCEWOOD® Cheddar , grated
190 ml LANCEWOOD® Grated Mozzarella
1 egg , beaten

Method

Spray a braai grid thoroughly with cooking spray.

Place one sheet of puff pastry on the braai grid and spread the pasta sauce over the puff pastry, leaving a 2cm border of pastry.

Add dollops of cream cheese spaced evenly over the tomato sauce. Top with salami slices, peppadews, crumbled feta and sliced avocado.

Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese over and lastly the grated mozzarella.

Top with the second sheet of puff pastry and lightly press the outsides of the puff pastry together with a fork to seal the edges. Close the braai grid then brush both sides of the pie with beaten egg.

Braai for 20-30 minutes turning frequently until cooked through and golden brown.

Divide into 8 pieces and serve immediately.
