Create NowHeat the oil and fry the boerewors until golden on all sides. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
In the same pan, fry the garlic, pepper and mushrooms until golden.
Add the herbs and sugar. Add the tomato and onion mix and tomato paste.
Stir in the beef stock. Add the cooked penne pasta and mix well. Season to taste.
Spoon into an ovenproof dish.
Sprinkle the cheese on top and bake for 15 – 20 minutes until golden and bubbling.
Serve with salad and garlic bread on the side.
