Cheesy Truffle Dip

Ingredients

125 g button mushrooms , or Shimei mushrooms
30 ml butter
230 g LANCEWOOD® Medium Fat Plain Cream Cheese
250 ml LANCEWOOD Sauce Delightâ„¢ Cheese Sauce
10 ml lemon juice
salt & freshly ground black pepper
2 spring onion(s) , finely chopped
250 ml LANCEWOOD® Medium Fat Mozzarella , grated
10 ml truffle flavoured oil
1 Baguette

Method

Preheat the oven to 180oC.

Heat the butter in a pan and fry the mushrooms until golden and set aside. 

In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, mushroom sauce, lemon juice and seasoning together. Add the spring onions, mozzarella and truffle oil and mix through. 

Spoon the mixture into a serving dish suitable for the oven. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Top with the fried mushrooms and drizzle with truffle oil. Serve with toasted baguettes.
