Cheesy Filled Dough Balls

Ingredients

Dough balls:

1 kg bread dough
oil  for deep frying

Filling (each will fill 10 dough balls):

Jalapeño:

50 g LANCEWOOD® Cheddar , finely grated
2 jalapeño(s) , finely chopped

Biltong:

50 g LANCEWOOD® Cheddar , finely grated
50 g biltong , finely chopped

Peppadew:

50 g LANCEWOOD® Mature Cheddar , finely grated
30 g peppadews , finely chopped

For serving:

fresh parsley , chopped

Method

Divide the bread dough into 25 - 30 pieces. Shape each piece into a disk.

Add your desired filling - place small amount in the centre of the disk. Fold to seal the dough around the filling. Roll into a ball.

Heat oil in a pot over a medium-high heat. Once hot, add a few balls at a time to fry.

Fry for 7 - 10 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.

Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and enjoy warm with your favourite LANCEWOOD DIP&TOPâ„¢.
